Revolution Labs is led by Forrest Collins.  Mr. Collins is based in Boulder, Colorado, and has more than 25 years of experience in PV. Mr. Collins is the owner and sole proprietor of Revolution Labs, a product development and consulting company dedicated to bringing the next generation of energy technology to the electric utility market. Mr. Collins has extensive experience testing, modeling and validating PV system performance in the utility and commercial building sectors.  Previously Mr. Collins led a team that developed a horizontal single-axis tracker with more than 700 MW in operation, designed and operated a solar test facility in Boulder, CO and performed due diligence on emerging technologies for juwi Americas.  Mr. Collins has contributed to the design, engineering, installation, purchasing, project management, and commissioning of both fixed-tilt and tracker projects, on rooftops and free field, from 2 kW to 500 MW. Mr. Collins also has experience designing, engineering, and permitting solar and battery microgrids and custom power solutions. In total Mr. Collins has contributed to the development of more than 10 GW of operating solar projects to date and more than 2 GWh of energy storage projects that either in operation or are in late-stage development. Mr. Collins holds a Master of Science in Energy Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
